During 15-22 December CRINGO network members from Tbilisi Coordination Point launched a campaign devoted to solidarity among the youth of a list of refugees and IDP, as well as from the local population in Georgia. About 100 children from Tbilisi as well as from regions of Georgia aged 15 – 18 participated in the youth forums in the regions of Shida Kartly, Imerety and Samegrelo. The central youth forum was arranged in Tbilisi including five representatives from each region and 15 IDP youth representatives resided in Tbilisi. The final forum was closed by the press-conference.
On December 13th in 2007 at the meeting of Baku office of CRINGO Network it was decided on the base of the proposal of Educational Center for Youth to hold forums and other activities in regions by participation of youth and also the first forum of Refugee and IDP youth. Educational Center assumed the responsability of holding the forum. Furthermore ECY assumed the responsability of holding forums by participation of youth in Mingecevir and Fuzuli.
The Russian government has sent humanitarian aid in the amount of million to the refugees and IDP of Azerbaijan.
